getting right to the point...

I'm learning a bit more of writing the blog stuff, and yes, I say it this way because I'm very southern, heck, I'm a southern Arkansas girl. But, I have time on my hands today, because I don't have my little darling, Kaylee.

First, I want you to know that I found some research last night about writing blogs. I want to be simple and honest and open-hearted about my grand daughter. I've learned that the kind of writing that I want to do is an inspirational writing of her. She is my inspiration, and I hope you can get information of how things work for me and her.. it may NOT necessarily work for you. I'd like my readers to use me as a learning tool as well.

I've had three children and so far all three, are very good children. They haven't gotten into any major problems, no drug use, no criminal miss jiff. My oldest girl, Ashley, the mother of Kaylee, is married to a wonderful guy, I'll call Kennedy.. not his real name. They didn't have a big wedding, but they have been happily married now for about 4 years, I believe, and she's 23. My son is 19 and a workaholic and sits on the money he makes.. lets all agree that there's nothing wrong with that. And last but not least, I have Holly, we call her Holly Dolly, Hosey and just plain Hose. I call her Holly. She's fifteen and is blossoming so quickly into a beautiful young women, and I'm a little worried that she's worried that she's not looking like the other girls her age in her school by being skinny and, what she calls, very pretty. I told her last night that she was very beautiful, thin enough, and not to worry about being like those other girls cause they are not perfect. We all know there is only one perfect and that is GOD! I think she listened to me.. .she got up had a poached egg and took some crackers with her to snack and and for the first time of this year she's going having school lunch. I'm so glad of that.

Okay, so now I have Kaylee to do all these wonderful things with all over again. She's just now turning 1, so I have 17 more years to share with whom ever wants to follow and learn what they can from me. If I don't have an answer, I will find one the best I can. I love to write, I hope that you can read through some of my slang without being intimidated. I welcome anyone who would like to help critique my writing. Like I said, I'm a new, very new blogger, and my inspiration is my grand baby and I hope to help anyone along the ride. Hop aboard, enjoy, and I'm sure at times it could be boring; but I should get better as I go. Please comment, I'd love to hear what you think, and I welcome ideas that I haven't yet tried that could be beneficial for a better up-bringing for Kaylee, at least, while she's in my care.

Thank you,
Jamie
